Pink Saturday, Coalport Teacup, Pink Miracle Makeover Day

Today with my usual Pink Saturday post with How Sweet The Sound, I will be visiting each of the blogs participating in the Miracle Makeover today. To read all about the blessings planned for cancer sufferer Charlie, watch the video and visit the sites listed at How Sweet The Sound.


Last week we had a day out at Poulsbo, WA which I shared about last Saturday for my Pink Saturday Post

But I didn't share my other blessing, because I was shaving it for today because it is pink!  I am a teacup lover, and when stopped to browse at the Poulsbo Antique Mall and I fell in love!!






I spotted this pink Coalport, England cup and saucer and my first thought was...oh goodie! For Pink Saturday! The pattern is called either Maple Time or Maple and it was made in several colorways. But I think it is gorgeous! My current favorite! The teacup was made between 1945-1960 and I absolutely love it...and it's pink!!!!

So, now I am going to go visit all the blogs participating with Charlie's Miracle Makeover and the other Pink Saturday blogs. Come with me and join in!

    Hi Sweetie...
    I love, LOVE this beautiful pink teacup and saucer. So absolutely gorgeous. I love the maple leaves. We lived on Maple Street back home, planted a maple tree, and they have forever been embedded in my very soul. Living here in Phoenix, it is to hot for a Maple tree. We have tried with no success out here. Thank you for the smiles this morning. Remembering happy moments in our lives.

    Thank you for letting me know the "real" name on the teacup in my post this week. You were right, it was very hard to read the stamp.

    I think your teacup is very beautifuly! I love the leaves and the color!

    Hi Ruth...don't you love Poulsbo? I have three dear Tasha Tudor friends there and seem to wander up there often. I am hoping to go back up in Sept. I actually saw this cup and saucer when I was there. I was looking for a special tea cup but didn't find one other than the set I had on my blog. I love this one! I just found one at the Aurora show and one at an estate sale this weekend...keeping them for Teacup Thursdays ahead.
    You MUST visit Aurora. Lots of antique shoppes there too with nice things. I think you'd very much enjoy it.
