Pink Saturday, Pink Things For A Tea Table

Welcome to my Pink Saturday post with How Sweet The Sound. I am posting pink things for the tea table...a teacup, a transferware platter and a padded pink roses tea cozy.

This is a pink, floral and gold overlay cup and saucer made by Collingwood, England in the 1950s. I love the floral bouquet and blush pink color.

This is a hand made padded fabric tea cozy with lush pink roses...and a few yellow ones too!

And to serve the goodies at the tea you need a platter like this pink transferware ironstone platter made by E. Wedgwood between 1965-1972 in an unknown pattern. Transferware has been popular since the late 1700s and it's popularity continues today.

Now for some macarons and a spot of tea!

Because of this being Pink Saturday...which I forgot...I will not do my post about my Sequim Lavender Festival afternoon tea until Sunday after church. Have a great weekend visiting all the Pink Saturday participants!
